We finally finished our read aloud!!!!!! We have reached the end of Flipped. It was bittersweet. Some were disappointed by the ending but I kind of like how it let you draw your own conclusions......
We took recommendations for our next read aloud and everyone was able to write about how they thought the book should have ended.
We also spent some more time practicing our prefixes. Each person was assigned a prefix and they had to mill about the room asking other students to think of words that started with their prefix. We had quite the list by the time we were done! We then brainstormed what the different prefixes could mean based on the words on our list and started compiling a master list. We'll finish this up tomorrow.
