Today in class we continued our read aloud The Westing Game. We then practiced our sentence of the week skill pronoun-antecedent agreement. We're getting better at that!
We continued working on our Community Policing article by discussing both sides of the issue presented. Students then had to choose a side to write a summary of. The hardest part of the assignment was keeping opinions OUT!! Argumentative writing presents a side of an argument with facts only! We'll practice this again tomorrow. Remember to bring your completed summaries to class.
