April 22, 2013 Sentence of the Week/Topic Stations

We started class today with sentence of the week.  New sentences are due tomorrow.  We also went over the last quiz, corrections are due tomorrow.

We then had students rotate between stations where they practiced their argumentative skills.  There was a magazine article station, a video station, book station, topic word station, and picture station.  At each of these, students needed to fill in various prompts in their worksheet.  For example, at the picture station, students need to come up with a question that would have two sides, based on the picture.  

We will continue working on these tomorrow.
