Today in class we read from our read aloud book, The Westing Game. We then practiced creating powerful statements during our sentence of the week practice.
We spent the rest of class discussing our topics of research and what two sides of an argument the side presents. Students shared their topics and sides and then began researching. Tomorrow students will choose which side they want to argue for and will begin their research.
