Oct 1, 2012 Lit Circles

Today we continued lit circles.  We read through chapters 3 and 4 in Touching Spirit Bear.  After groups finished reading the chapters they completed the Day 2 section in their Response Journals.  If you did not finish this in class you need to finish this up tonight!

We finally got to our read aloud Flipped!  We continued the chapter on Julianna's perspective of the egg incident.  We found out that when Julianna discovered that Bryce was throwing the eggs away each time she gave them to him she stated that her heart was utterly and completely cracked.....

A bit of a downer!  But hopefully this mood picks up in the next chapter!  We will continue with our lit circles  tomorrow!  Check out the pictures below of our groups hard at work!
