Homework: Complete final revisions on mentor text (3 Bears story), and wear pink!
Today in class we continued learning about homophones and homonyms. We decided if the words from the video yesterday were homophones or homonyms. We finally found a better way to remember the difference between homophones and homonyms thanks to Mrs. Forsberg! Here it is....
The word homophone has a homophone in it.....one vs. won. They sound the same, have different meanings, and are spelled differently. Tada!!
We also finished a homophone worksheet for practice which everyone did fabulously on. Finally, we read aloud from Touching Spirit Bear where Cole continued to learn from Edwin and Garvey how to handle his anger. He also thinks he saw another glimpse of the spirit bear!! Hopefully we'll find out tomorrow if he really saw it or not!
