Homework: Sentence of the Week
It's finally Friday! Today in class students worked on Compass Learning to help improve language arts skills.
Once done, we did our sentences of the week, your three sentences are due on Monday!
We finished up by discussing our non-fiction articles about influenza. Students were broken up into groups of four in which each group member had a different article that they were an "expert" on. They became experts by reading their article, marking the three most important facts from the article, and coming up with a summary to share with group members. After the groups discussed their articles we discussed them as a class and reviewed what we learned about the flu.
