Homework: Color coding paragraph worksheet
Today in class we finished up our organizing game by organizing our lists of topics and details into a step up to writing outline format. Everyone did a FANTASTIC job with this! It really helped us visualize what a completed outline will look like.
After we finished the organization game we went through how we can get from an outline to a written paragraph. We took a completed outline and worked from the top down. We started with our topic sentence (green), made a thesis with our yellows, then we went through our outline, alternating between our yellow key topics and red details.
