Today in class we practiced our sentence of the week skills by correcting sentences using the skills we've learned so far. Everyone did an awesome job with this!
Next we moved on to working on paraphrasing. This is a really important skill to learn since you will use it for sure throughout the rest of your school career. It's a tough one to learn but really helpful! We read through an article and students practiced summarizing without plagiarizing.
On Monday we will practice using a site called turnitin.com which will help you see if you are using your own words when summarizing or not.
