I am sorry to report that we did not get to read from Flipped today! Which totally bummed some of you out, but don't worry we should have time to read a little bit tomorrow!
We skipped this because we had so much to work on with our mentor texts! We began with peer sharing. Everyone broke up into partners and shared their story. It's always great to hear others ideas and to check that everything we wrote makes sense. Sometimes we understand something in our head but it doesn't make sense on paper, so it is great to get someone else's perspective! Once everyone was able to share their story with their partner we ran through the steps of getting ready to type. You needed to open the file in your shared drive, make a copy, rename it with your name + the name of your story, and then drag it into the Blaney/Forsberg Comm Arts/3Bears Folder. If you are still confused on how to do this see me or leave a comment.
Once those steps were completed the typing began! We will spend some more time tomorrow during class finishing this up since we had some technology glitches today!
The stories that I saw today were awesome, love the creativity!
