Sept 6, 2012 Tech Talk

Today in Comm Arts we got ourselves set up to be able to use the computer this year.  Meaning, we had to reset passwords, update to Google Drive, and create folders to keep our online work organized.  If anyone is confused as to what this is definitely shoot me an e-mail or a comment and I can explain further.

That took up most of our time but we did take time at the end of class to set up writing territories in our journal.  Writing territories is just a list of topics that can be used as journal entries throughout the year.  We wanted a HUGE list so that whenever we have tell students to turn back there and choose a topic, there will always be many to choose from.  Journal topics will either be prompted by myself or Mrs. Forsberg based on what we are currently learning or a topic we would like students to reflect on, or it will be free choice where they choose a topic from their territories list.  By the end of the year students will have a journal full of both random and guided, musings and thoughts!
