Homework: Finish typing your mentor text if you have not already done so
Today we continued working on our mentor text. After some technical difficulties, we moved our party into the library and were able to get down to work! Students edited each others papers by inserting comments into their Google doc. We also used a peer editing checklist to make sure we checked everything!
On Monday we will finish up the editing phase and will hopefully get our final copies turned in!
In class we also discussed a "Responsibility Grade". Students will have a responsibility grade worth 100 points. In the event that they turn in a late assignment, for every day that it is late the student will lose 5 points off of their responsibility grade's overall score. So if they turn in an assignment one day late they will be at 95 points. If they then turn in another assignment two days late, they will be at 85 points. And so on.
